We are a trustworthy and leading manufacturer and exporter of reciprocating compressor valves, screw compressor valves,
gas compressor valves and other engineering parts & assemblies. Till date, Alpha has developed more than 300 parts and 80 assemblies, which include valves, assemblies and parts for screw & reciprocating types of compressors. The accessories we have developed include safety valves, plate type NRVs, etc. About 13,000 to 15,000 valves are manufactured and tested on an average at Alpha Compressors. Mr. Subhash Dhekane, an M.Tech in Machine Design had earliar worked for 14 years in R&D department of Kirloskar Pneumatic Co. Ltd., Pune and held prestigious posts in other reputed organizations. Mrs. A.S. Dhekane, a B.Com, who worked in the computer department for 14 years in a reputed firm, looks after accounts, audit and taxation. They are the key promoters of the company.

Quality Assurance
Every product is an example in itself
for its superior quality. The use of the latest technology and highly qualified and experienced staff are our biggest strength. Incoming parts are checked for quality and quantity using instruments and gauges, then recorded in the inward inspection report. A GRR No. is allotted to every challan. If necessary, chemical testing is conducted from approved laboratories and record for the same is maintained. Every product passes through a series of several inspection procedures that minimise any possibility of quality degradation. After completion of all processes, the material goes to the inspection section where parts are checked on sample basis. Then a root card is signed by the concerned person and sent to the stores. All the necessary gauges, tooling, jigs and fixtures are developed by us to maintain the quality standards. Calibration of all equipments is done periodically and records are maintained. We use equipments and instruments like rockwell hardness tester, height gauge, dial verniers, micrometers, plug/ring guages of various sizes, surface flats, etc. for conducting quality tests.
Testing
All assemblies are tested 100% before dispatch so as to assure performance of the original equipment. The reciprocating compressor valves are tested for leakage using an electro-pneumatic testing rig which digitally displays the rate of valve assembly very accurately. Depending on the leakage area of each valve, standards of allowable leakage rates have been established over the years. Similar test rigs are developed for other assemblies like oil stop valve assemblies of screw compressors, safety valves of compressors, etc. Important dimensions of parts are recorded batch-wise before assembly so that performance and fitment related parameters are thoroughly maintained. Due to this our assemblies and components go directly to the assembly lines of OEMs.
Infrastructure
We are outfitted with outstanding infrastructural abilities to deliver excellent valves to our prestigious clients. Our valve testing facility is equipped with latest testing machines to test the valves for leakage. We have an advanced facility for designing and analysing of the valves.
